Another Malaysia Airlines tragedy

Today another Malaysia Airlines plane, flight MH17, carrying 295 people on board was shot down near the Russia/Ukraine border.  This is the second incident this year involving a Malaysia Airlines aircraft.  Earlier this year MH370 disappeared and that mystery remains in solved though at the time there were many conspiracy theories.

In January I booked a holiday to the UK for a friend's wedding and one of the legs would have been on Malaysia Airlines.  I had a funny feeling about that airline.  Something said 'don't use that airline'.  Due to finances I ended up not going to the friends wedding, which is this month in the UK.  Back in January something told me not to fly them despite the travel agent at the time saying they were good. When MH370 disappeared in March I wasn't surprised.  Since then I had a feeling the airline would suffer another loss, even having dreams about plane crashes.  I was never on the plane in these dreams.  My most recent premonition was this week when I kept seeing the number 17 associated with death.  It was spooky but I thought nothing of it.  What I mean by that is I didn't think there'd be another plane crash so soon after MH370.

The world has reacted and is furious at Ukraine/Russia, with some saying this will be the start of World War 3.  I'm not so sure though because that was said after 9/11. It may happen this time though given the multiple nationalities on board the plane.  People expect Malaysia Airlines to go bankrupt within a few years time.

Other commentators on social media say that kids shouldn't be watching the news and seeing the horrific images.  I disagree.  There's no doubt this is distressing for everyone regardless of if we know people aboard but sheltering kids from what happens in the world only promotes ignorance, and there's already enough of that.  Kids need to know what happens so they can learn and when they're old enough take action against war and negligence.  We need informed citizens.

In the meantime there's no doubt the world will want answers to MH17's fate and MH370.  I expect Danica Weeks, the wife of MH370 passenger Paul Weeks will be ropable.
